Arrabbiata literally means "angry" in Italian; the name of the sauce refers to the spiciness of the chili peppers. Clearly this was a no-brainer for us. Flavors of garlic, onion, bell peppers, herbs, and dried chiles come to life with the simplicity of tomatoes. Slow simmered tomato sauce has never been easier. Add the contents of the seasoning packet into a little warm olive oil until fragrant, stir in one 28oz can of crushed tomatoes, and allow to simmer for a half hour. Painless, fresh, and delicious. Toss with your favorite pasta and enjoy. Leave that jar of tomato sauce full of salt and sugar at the store where it belongs.
