  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 2 Tbl pickled jalapenos

Smash Burger Meets Taco Night

These smash burger tacos are what happens when two of the best things you can make collide—crispy-edged burgers and loaded tacos.

Seasoned with Cow-Abunga, they bring that deep, savory, off-the-grill flavor into every bite, with melty cheese and fresh toppings to balance it out.

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together all sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 loose balls. Place each ball onto a tortilla and press it thin so it covers most of the surface.
  3. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the tortilla meat-side down and press firmly to create a crispy smash burger crust.
  4. Cook for 2–3 minutes, until the beef is browned and crispy.
  5. Flip, immediately add cheese, and cook for another 1–2 minutes until melted and the tortilla is lightly toasted.
  6. Remove from heat and top with shredded lettuce, onion, pickles, jalapeños, bacon, and a generous drizzle of sauce.
  7. Fold and serve immediately.

Pro Tip:

Press the beef as thin as possible onto the tortilla—this is what gives you that signature crispy edge and keeps everything cooking evenly.

Make It Your Own:

  • Swap beef for ground turkey or chicken
  • Add avocado or guacamole for extra richness
  • Turn up the heat with hot sauce or extra jalapeños
  • Use different cheeses like pepper jack or American

What To Serve It With:

Serve with fries, chips, or a simple slaw. These are perfect for weeknight dinners, cookouts, or anything that calls for messy, delicious food.
