Preparation:
- Preheat a charcoal grill until the coals are glowing white, or preheat a gas grill on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground lamb with remaining ingredients (except oil) and mix thoroughly.
- Divide mixture into 10 equal portions.
- Press lamb mixture around metal skewers, shaping into sausage-like links.
- Lightly oil the grill grates if needed.
- Grill skewers over high heat, turning carefully to char all sides while maintaining their shape.
