Bold, Hearty, and Built to Simmer
This homemade chili is the kind you come back to again and again—rich, hearty, and packed with bold flavor.
Built with OSPC Bold & Spicy Chili Mix, it takes the guesswork out and delivers that deep, slow-simmered taste without overcomplicating the process.
Preparation:
- Heat a large pot over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in celery and peppers and cook another 2 minutes until softened.
- Add ground bison and OSPC Bold & Spicy Chili Mix, increasing heat to high. Cook until browned.
- Stir in beans and reduce heat to a simmer.
- Add beer, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Mix well.
- Let simmer on low heat for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Adjust consistency if needed with more tomato or beer.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Pro Tip:
Let it simmer longer if you can—chili only gets better with time as the flavors deepen.
Make It Your Own:
- Swap bison for ground beef or turkey
- Add extra beans or skip them entirely
- Turn up the heat with jalapeños or hot sauce
- Add a splash of coffee or chocolate for deeper flavor
What To Serve It With:
Top with cheese, sour cream, or chips. Serve with cornbread or just eat it straight from the bowl—no judgment.
