Fresh Bagels, No Fuss Required
These homemade everything bagels skip the complicated process and still deliver that classic chewy texture and bold flavor.
Made with a simple dough and finished with The Works, they’ve got everything you want—savory, crunchy topping and a soft, satisfying bite.
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add yogurt and mix until a dough forms. If too dry, add water 1 teaspoon at a time until it comes together.
- Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Shape into a ball, then cut into 8 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a rope and connect the ends to form a bagel shape. Place on prepared baking sheets.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle generously with The Works seasoning.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
- Let cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.
Pro Tip:
Don’t skip the kneading—it helps develop that chewy texture that makes these feel like real bagels.
Make It Your Own:
- Add shredded cheese to the dough for extra richness
- Use whole wheat flour for a heartier version
- Make mini bagels for snackable portions

What To Serve With It:
