Smoky, Sweet, and Built for Pizza Night

This pulled pork pizza takes everything you love about BBQ and loads it onto a crispy, golden crust.

Finished with Hog Heaven, it brings that sweet heat, maple-kissed flavor that pairs perfectly with tender pulled pork, melted cheese, and roasted veggies.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 525°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and honey. Whisk and let sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  3. Add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 4 minutes until smooth.
  4. Form into a ball and let rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Drizzle olive oil onto two baking sheets. Divide dough in half and press each portion into a rectangle shape using your hands.
  6. Bake until the bottoms are lightly golden, rotating as needed. Remove from oven.
  7. Top with sauce, shredded cheese, onions, peppers, and pulled pork.
  8. Sprinkle generously with Hog Heaven seasoning.
  9. Return to oven and bake until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted, rotating as needed.
  10. Remove from oven, top with scallions, slice, and serve immediately.

Pro Tip:

Pre-baking the crust helps you get that crispy bottom—don’t skip it, especially at high heat.

Make It Your Own:

  • Add BBQ sauce for a more traditional BBQ pizza vibe
  • Swap pulled pork for shredded chicken
  • Use mozzarella and cheddar for a cheese blend
  • Add jalapeños for a spicy kick

What To Serve It With:

Serve with a simple salad or slaw to balance the richness. Or just grab a slice and go—no judgment.
